Happy 2013 to our Tribe members around the globe! As we, the Ethnotek crew, reflect on 2012 - we realize we have a lot to be thankful for...here are just a few of the many highlights: we were featured in The Huffington Post, powerful connections were made, we enjoyed our first trade show foray at Outdoor Retailer (and the misadventures along the way) and met some inspiring, like-minded people behind socially-responsible businesses, our Tribe community has grown to over 2,000 fans on Facebook, we launched the Acaat Messenger, Wayu Pack and Dep Sleeves for iPad and iPad mini...and so, so much more.
We also had the pleasure of ringing in the new year with a 'best of 2012' feature - major HIGH FIVES to our friends at the FIVE THôT for naming us 1 of their "Top Five Scoops from 2012: Companies That Encourage You To Be Unique." So awesome!

Before we sign off, we also wanted to take some time to thank all of our Tribe for following us in 2012, and for spreading the good word. As you all know, proceeds from your purchases go to a great cause and help sustain the time-honored craft of our artisans and weavers. Buying bags this season has helped us keep looms prepped, needles threaded, dye baths full and families fed.
For these reasons and more, the whole Ethnotek crew - both our small team and extended team of artisans - are thankful for you, our Tribe members!
