Pre-Order Update

Wow, this year has been challenging, but we're making it through and we couldn't do it without your support and good vibes! By pre-ordering Cyclo Slings and Chiburi Wallets, you have helped bridge our small family business through one of the most difficult financial times we've had, and for that, we are incredibly grateful, THANK YOU!

We completely understand your frustration and disappointment in the long wait time. It's now TWO MONTHS LATE

Shipping has proven to be a massive headache during the pandemic and is why there have been so many delays with your pre-order items. Some of you may have reached out directly to us for an update and we’ve given our best estimates but even those have had to be pushed back a couple of times.

***When we first became aware of the delays, we had an additional set of restocks sent via air shipment to hopefully bridge the gap created by the sea shipment delays. This vessel arrived a few weeks ago and we have been able to chip away at the orders while we waited for the original shipment to arrive at the warehouse.

First and Foremost, I can assure you that THIS IS NOT A SCAM!!!

I know we've all been burned here or there with online ordering, not to mention the nerve wrecking feeling of ordering something off of an ad or social media account!

I promise you that we have not taken your money and ran (I honestly don't know how people can have a clear conscious and do that).

We have been helplessly waiting on pins and needles to be able to finally get our favorite bag and wallet out to you all.

Getting sporadic updates on delays and their causes...including the weird path the shipping container has been on from our workshop in Vietnam to our warehouse in Indiana (not to mention a change of shipping vessels and an entry through Canada?!) This has never happened in our 10 years of doing business! 

Needless to say we have re-evaluated the shipping companies we work with moving forward!

Delivery Update!

There is light at the end of the tunnel! We've already been able to ship out nearly 300 pre-orders from the air shipment we rushed out and are just starting to chip away at the addition 1,500(ish) pre-orders from the main restock shipment!

Not only is the Ethnotek team small (3 full time employees small!) our warehouse is also a small business.

They have all hands on deck trying to play catch up with each individual order! It will take a few weeks time but we will get them to you before Christmas (What a frustrating sentence since some orders were placed in September but I can assure you, it's worth the wait!)
